European higher education in facts and figures
European higher education in facts and figures covers the majority of the UK higher education sector. It excludes higher education at foreign and private higher education institutions operating in the UK and some higher education provided at further education colleges because comparable data are not available. The data are derived from a variety of sources; please see the notes to each table.

UK Universities and Europe: Competition and Internationalisation
This report contributes data and market information on Europe for UK universities. It is a contribution to deciphering what this is likely to mean to the European Higher Education sector. It evaluates the forms and the extent of competition to the UK for international students from other European countries and provides realistic recommendations on how the UK might better position itself in order to continue to succeed both in recruitment and long-term internationalisation.
The European Higher Education Area: Celebrating a decade of UK engagement
This publication sets out achievements since the establishment of the European Higher Education Area and marks ten years of the Bologna Process. Key areas where the UK's engagement with continental Europe has been strengthened through the Bologna Process are profiled and documented in this publication.

Patterns of Higher education in the UK - Ninth Report
This ninth report follows the established format of the Patterns series. Section A looks at sector level trends over the 10-year period from 1998/99 to 2007/08 and provides the context for the findings about institutions. Section B looks at patterns of institutional diversity and updates information on higher education provided in the earlier Patterns reports. Section C focuses on a range of statistical information about higher education in Europe, and the UK’s relationship with this.

This guide to the Bologna Process is an updated version of the edition published in January 2005. It focuses on issues of particular relevance to the UK in the 2007 Bologna Process ministerial summit in London. Readers may wish to refer to the earlier edition.

UK HE Europe Unit Guide to the Diploma Supplement
The Supplement is designed to increase the transparency and recognition of qualifications across Europe and is an important action line of the Bologna Process. The benefits the Supplement offers, will help students to access further study and employment across the EHEA. The Guide is best utilised as a reference document, as different sections apply to different audiences.

UK HE Europe Unit Guide to the Bologna Process - Edition 1
This booklet seeks to provide the UK higher education sector with an authoritative guide to the Bologna process to create the European Higher Education Area. It aims to help the sector engage with the Bologna Process and benefit from opportunities it creates. Clarifying key ministerial agreements, it dispels myths surrounding the consequences of ‘Bologna’ for the UK and indicates sources of further information.
